The Beginnings!

When you first launch Axie Infinity Homeland, you're greeted with a sparse plot of land, equipped with the Altar of Atia (the Moon shaped structure), a Post Portal, 2 Worker Axies, and some initial trees and quarries.

The Altar of Atia

Key to understanding your new realm is the Altar of Atia, the game's focal point. It's not just a monument but a critical facility where new constructions and advancements for your Axies are researched. The development of your civilization is intrinsically linked to the level of your Altar, dictating the progress and capabilities of your Axies. Open up your Altar of Atia and Let's have a look!

In order to progress your structures to the next stage, and in general your estate, your Axies have to research them first at the Altar of Atia. You will find that throughout the game deciding what the research in what order is of great importance if you want to progress fast. The research takes time, and you can not research anything while you are upgrading your Altar. So it is important to plan your research and upgrades carefully.

Although postponing certain buildings or upgrades is more efficient initially, it's imperative to prioritize research from the onset. This approach ensures you're prepared for future developments and can seamlessly progress through the game.

Adding Your NFT Axies and AXP

To add your NFT Axies to your plot you press Shift + N and then invite your Axies to the homeland. Your Axies will have a chance at earning AXP (Axie Infinity Experience) for each action they take on the plot. This AXP can be used to upgrade your Axies and their abilities. Homeland in particular is now a AWESOME breeding ground for leveling up your Axies. Seeing that a high level land plot, can host up to 32 Axies at a time to earn AXP with! This is a great way to level up your Axies and earn some extra resources. The AXP cap per Axie is set at 10 000 AXP, so the maximum amount of AXP you can earn per Axie is 10 000 AXP in a single day.

Newcomers Quests and Dailies

Make sure you complete all your beginners quests to get some resources and gold to start with. You can open the Newcomer quests by pressin "O".

The dailies are also a good way to get some extra gold and resources. You can open the Dailies Panel by Pressing "K".SINGLE PLOT OWNERS AND PLAYERS BEWARE unlike what the Claim button suggests, do NOT believe it, you would think it would claim your daily in that category right? WRONG! You actually have to click the chest in what to a single plot owner appears to be a never progressing progress bar. If you are playing with multiple plots this should be obvious, just click the chest in the category you want to claim your daily in.

Post Portal and Resource Transfering

The Portal Post serves as your reception for items purchased from the auction house, which you can access by pressing "U". This functionality connects you to the broader economy of the game.

If you are one of those lucky players that owns or operates more then one plot in a single account, you can transfer resources between your plots by using the "Resource Transfering" tab. You can do this by pressing "R" and then selecting the plot you want to transfer resources to or from. This is a great way to get resources from your other plots to your main plot.

You can also take advantage of your plot type modifiers, for example Forests plots get reduced times on Agriculture, so it would make since to do that on your forest plot and then transfer the resources to your other plot.

From Altar Lvl 1 to Altar Lvl 2

Step One: Your immediate objective is to gather 100 wood to maximize the storage capacity of your Altar of Atia. Begin by clicking on the trees on your plot to collect wood. This initial step is foundational for kick-starting your journey in Axie Infinity Homeland.

Step 2: Build a Pebble Pile and gather Stone

Now press "C" to open construction mode and build the pebble pile, the Pebble Pile can only hold Stone! Once you have built the Pebble Pile, click on the quarry to gather stone. You will need 100 stone to upgrade your Altar of Atia to level 2. Also build a Woody Warehouse to ensure you have enough storage amongst your Altar, the Woody Warehouse and The Pebble Pile to start the upgrade to Altar Level 2.

To progress to Lvl in the most efficient way you do NOT want to upgrade the Woody Warehouse, OR Pebble Pile nor will you build the miners mass at this level. You may need to move some materials around because this means you only have exactly enough storage to upgrade to Altar Lvl 2. You can do this by pressing "V" to see your mateiral storage and then click storage to move materials around. You will need 50 stone and 50 wood in your Altar, and a full Pebble Pile.

Now Upgrade your altar to Lvl 2 and let's move on

From Altar Lvl 2 to Altar Lvl 3

Essential Research

• Research: Wood Storage
• Research: Hemp Hut

In order to progress the fastest to Lvl 3 we need 250 wood storage and 175 stone storage. So on the Pebble Pile, we are good, store 125 in the altar, and 50 on your pile. For the woody ware, house upgrade one to lvl 2 to increase its storage capacity to 150. Then build a second Woody Warehouse with a capacity of 100. Also make the Hemp Hut a high priority, this is where your axies live and the more housing you have the more workers you can have. When that is done, you are gonna need some gold. You can get gold by selling wood and stone on the auction house. Or by building the Consumers Corner, Survivor's Shop, Gatherer's Green and a Forager's Field.

Since once again you have only just enough storage to start your altar upgrade if you are rushing 5. You may need to discard any higher tier Wood in order to have 250 common ones.
